MicroLoans

The I AM Here For You Ministries has ventured into a new segment of ministry to women in Burundi, Africa; microloans. Beginning in the second quarter of 2007, the ministry began to offer loans to widows and poor women who had an idea for a small business and that were  willing to be trained.  The types of businesses are wide spread; vegetable stands, farming, selling- donuts, soaps, potatoes, cooked foods, flour, rice, clothing, oil, beans.  It takes just a little seed money ($100.00) to make a significant difference in their lives. To date over 100 women have enrolled and received loans to start businesses.  Over 50% have paid back their loans in full and all have committed to being faithful in repaying.  As part of the loan, we ask but not by demand that 10% of that loan be sowed back into the ministry so that we can give back to the community.

Besides investing into the physical and emotional needs of these women, the out stretched hand of our Lord is touching these women with Gospel through the ministry. Salvations are taking place.  Those who have never been valued by society are now finding support through this extension of the Body of Christ.  We give thanks and praise to our Lord and Savior Jesus for trusting us with the opportunity to be an effective witness through sowing into these lives.

Below is list of the women who have been given loans:
